“My apartment is basically a couch, an armchair, and about four thousand books.”

Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler’s Wife

Niffenegger was born in 1963, and she published her debut novel in 2003.

If I were single still, this sounds like what my apartment would look like, too. Sure, I’d probably have a desk and my computer on it, but you get the gist.

Henry is kind of a dream man for us book nerds, isn’t he?

I read Time Traveler’s Wife twice. Both times were enjoyable, and I still remember how it made such an impression on my younger brother (he borrowed the book from my shelves at home) that he texted me about it. That is a fond memory I have attached to this book–that it’s yet another thing that bonds me with my brother.
